WHAT IS E-RATE?
The Schools and Libraries Program, commonly known as E-rate, provides discounts to eligible schools and libraries in the United States on their telecommunications, Internet access, and related services. The program is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the oversight of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
HOW DOES E-RATE WORK?
Schools and libraries can apply each year for discounts on the cost of telecommunications and other services. If you are funded, you can either receive discounted bills from your service providers or pay for the services in full and request reimbursement. The program is capped at $2.25 billion per program year, indexed to inflation each year.

AUTO ATTENDANT
An Auto Attendant IVR or “Interactive Voice Response” menu allows callers to interact
with your telephone system via their telephone keypads.
The IVR Module is used to set up a menu system that will play an initial recording to callers, allow them to dial an option or an extension number and route their call to a particular location based upon what they dial.
The IVR module allows you to create one or more IVRs (“Interactive Voice Response” systems or Auto Attendants). You can then route calls to the IVR and play a recording prompting callers what options to enter, such as “press 1 for sales and press 2 for the company directory.”

APPOINTMENT REMINDER
The Appointment Reminder module is a unique way to automate appointment confirmations, cancellations, and reschedules. Simply specify names and numbers by entering them manually or uploading a CSV file. Your PBX will automatically call the numbers at specified times, allowing customers to confirm, cancel, or reschedule appointments. You can control all details of the calls, such as rate-limiting, retry attempts, and how many days of advance notice to give the customer. The module is totally flexible, allowing you to modify any appointment reminder list on the fly.
